These Greek Chicken Burgers are a tasty and healthy meal that fits into the Paleo, Whole30, Keto, and AIP diets. These burgers are easy to make and full of flavor from the herbs and spices. They're great for a quick dinner during the week.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper omit for AIP
- Lettuce leaves for serving
- Sliced tomatoes for serving
- Sliced cucumber for serving
- Tzatziki sauce optional, for serving
Instructions:
Ground chicken, red onion, garlic, parsley, oregano, cumin, sea salt, and black pepper should all be mixed together in a large bowl
Mix the ingredients together well until they are all evenly mixed in
Make burger patties out of the mixture
Set a grill or a pan on medium heat
The patties should be cooked for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until they are done all the way through
Place the Greek chicken burgers on lettuce leaves and top them with cucumber slices, tomato slices, and tzatziki sauce, if you want
